Programme outline 2021

We plan to structure the C4E Forum 2021 similarly to agenda from previous year as this wat the event offers an engaging blend of practical parallel sessions, workshops, high-level plenaries, a slot for DIY sessions and plenty of social and networking opportunities around it all. However, we have also suggested some new items:
(1) 2 wrap-ups of panel sessions to enable input even for those who were not able to participate in a specific session
(2) controversial ideas session during which we would like to address topics from a slightly different perspective

Below is an outline of how the programme will be structured (a .jpg version available here).

Short description of the topical blocks in the programme outline:

Plenaries are the only two times when all C4E participants come together in “plenary” fashion and are addressable all at once. High level Speakers from CEE countries and EU, international institutions are invited and moderated to discuss an important matter of relevance for the region.

Welcome coctail is the first informal meeting of all participants after the Opening plenary and dinner where the floor is also given to the Sponsors for short introduction.

Panel Sessions are parallel topical sessions created by the OC basing on the presentations provided by the Participants. Depending on the number of presentations submitted by the Participants there might be even 5 sessions taking place at the same time in different small conference rooms. Usually there are 3 short (12 min) presentations on a specific topic within the session which is moderated by a Panel Leader (who also earlier helps the Presenters to create the best possible presentations). Since the time secured for each panel session is 90 minutes – the half of the time remaining after the presentations are done is reserved for engagement with audience and break-out work.

Workshops are slots in the programme prepared by Sponsors and Contributing Partners. OC strongly encourages the Sponsors to prepare a workshop on an important topic and to avoid product-related PR. Workshops take 60 minutes and sponsors may join forces and host a workshop together.

NEW in 2021! Controversial ideas session is a slot in which we will address some of the most controversial topics in an attractive and entertaining format will spice the Forum up.

DIY session is a 2 hour slot on Thursday afternoon which might be used as the Participants to organise e.g. juggling workshop, jogging team run etc. Together withthe venue the OC ususally provides access to bikes or other equipment or suggests possible active ways of spending this time.

Closing talk is usally a short talk on broader topic given by inspirational/motivational speaker (in format similar to TED talks).

Party (and karaoke) – an important part of the programme (and networking) – no explanation needed
